Today we had a look around the Schwandorf district. We first went along the former railway line from Rötz towards Bodenwöhr. The branch line was in use until 1994 and then dismantled in 1998/1999. At the former Hillstett station we even saw a steam locomotive, which is now the location of the Upper Palatinate Crafts Museum.
