The hike was very cool. I saw a couple of kids coming down as I began but when I got into I was thinking how the hell did they do it because even I was struggling with the scrambling. I didn't see anyone untill near the top but I knew it was quite busy. Turns out I took a different …

Leisurely hike on Cat Ba Island. By moped to the entrance of the national park and then up the very well laid out path through lush greenery.

After a 10 km drive from Cát Bà town you come to the entrance to the national park, pay the entrance fee and follow a paved path to the edge of the jungle. From there it goes steeply up stairs and rocks before you reach the observation tower, which offers a view of a deep green mountain landscape.
