A nice circular route, but mostly asphalt and therefore more suitable for cyclists and skaters etc. Nice is the free parking and seating including trash cans on the route.

A very beautiful lake, still a real insider tip despite the fixed circular hiking trail. There were very few people around. A few benches and shelters are spread around the lake, there is no restaurant or anything like that. All in all, the perfect lake for a Saturday afternoon.

It should go north of Leipzig for Ascension Day. It was a nice round. A few party-goers were of course also on the road. Nature is in full bloom. At the end we stopped off at the Gasthof "Zum Eichenast" for a delicious meal and enjoyed the party

Mostly paved, more suitable for 🚵‍♂️🚴‍♀️ and skaters.

Long but easy round between November fog and late autumn sun. The last 5 kilometers or so are not a path at Komoot, but the path is even gravel. In the warmer months, a visit to the Löbnitz ice cream parlor is recommended.

A "ride" to the north of Leipzig made it possible to "do" a lap around one of the many lakes of the Leipziger Neuseenland in the afternoon...
The cool weather from this morning changed to sunshine ☀️ and warmer temperatures in the afternoon, so even a swim 🏖️ in the lake was possible...

When it comes to hiking around Leipzig, you often stop at the lakes and walk around them. I didn't know about Seelhausener See. It's well developed for cyclists, all asphalted paths and plenty of rest areas. Not so exciting for hikers, although the northwest corner through the "Goitzscher Wildnis" is the most beautiful. Lots of forest (there are a lot …
