The castle is still being restored. You probably wouldn't expect to find the beautiful castle park with its statues and fountains etc. here.
The last 5 pictures are from the return journey - a short stop in Großräschen - without komoot. There is a great new lake here with a great harbor, pier etc. Unfortunately, nothing is in use - …

Here you can go for a wonderful walk in the park of Altdöbbern Castle. Unfortunately, the castle is currently closed as the interior is being restored to its original state.
The bakery near the castle park is highly recommended. We had a wonderful meal there after the short hike.
