From Ranger's hiking diary: "I have many childhood memories of the sandy ravine in Wilden Grund. Back then, the area seemed very spooky to me. Today, I find it beautiful in every season and in every weather. The Schalenstein even inspired me to write my bachelor's thesis on the Schalensteine of Schleswig-Holstein."
