The monument commemorates the racing driver Juan Manuel Fangio, who won the German Grand Prix held on the Nürburgring Nordschleife three times - each time for different teams: in 1954, 1956 and 1957.

Probably the most photographed object at the Nürburgring and in the Eifel. Definitely a highlight.

You can also drive the old Nordschleife, the so-called "Green Hell", in your own car. It currently costs 30 euros per lap and an annual ticket costs 3,000 euros.

The Nürburgring is a legend as one of the longest, most demanding and most frequently used race tracks in the world. Every year, numerous visitors experience music and sporting events as well as pure motorsport at racing events. Amateurs and professionals from a wide range of racing classes compete against each other and their vehicles on two courses: the traditional Nordschleife with a length of 20.832 kilometers and the modern 5.148-kilometer Grand Prix circuit.

Juan Manuel Fangio was an Argentinian racing driver. He shaped the early years of Formula 1 and became world champion in this class five times – a record that was only surpassed by Michael Schumacher in 2003.
