One of the best ways to reach the summit of Monte Altissimo di Nago is certainly to walk along the so-called "Sentiero dei Cirmoli". It owes its name to the reforestation work of Augusto Girardelli, a small local entrepreneur who purchased several hectares of land on the slopes of Monte Baldo with the sole purpose of planting as many Swiss pines as possible.
