A very nice Malga (a mountain inn) with three rooms and 14 beds. Bookings can be made in advance. The Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes) is highly recommended.

In summer, the alpine hut offers a stop on the way from/to the summit of Monte Roen. It is at an altitude of approx. 1900 metres, and it is another 200 meters to the summit of the Roen.

Popular starting point for paragliders who hover over the Adige Valley from here. For everyone else a good point to marvel at the mountain panorama of the Ötztal and Sarntal Alps.

If you want to be more sure-footed, go to the Überetscher Hütte and take path 523 into the valley. The 538 Prazollersteig is very demanding at first.
