Oasis of peace and tranquility a few km from Milan

This group of lakes was formed around 1975 and the artificial basins are the result of the recovery of as many extraction quarries for aggregates. It has been so neglected by man in the past that it has "suffered" a natural repopulation of some animal and floral species, which have found their oasis here to live in peace, reproduce or find shelter. The lake is home to royal pheasants, seagulls and mallards and, in times of migration, is the home of some pairs of white storks. This place can be reached starting from Zibido towards Gaggiano on a cycle path.

The Conca (closed) of Moirago allows the boats to overcome a difference in height of 1.7 meters. It is the lowest of the 12 basins of the Naviglio Pavese.

Despite being a microscopic village, it is the epicenter of countless bike rides, both gravel and racing, being in the center of an area, the one between the Naviglio Pavese to the south, Zibido to the west, the Tangenziale and the Naviglio Grande to the north ( Trezzano, Gaggiano), rich in itineraries and the possibility of inventing always different itineraries.
