If you walk the easy path around the Cavalese waterfall, the beautiful footpath leads to another natural monument - the "Pezo del Gazolin" - a monumental spruce with a circumference of 5 m.

The Cavalese waterfall is fed by the Rio Val Moena, which rises in the beautiful mountain valley of the same name. It is interesting to watch how its water falls over the edge of the rocks about 20m into the depths. It looks as if it is pointing an index finger towards the sky. If you watch it from the bridge, at the outlet, you are impressed by the unbridled power of nature and feel the fine spray on your face.
