It is a small country church, located at the end of a long and picturesque tree-lined avenue. The construction is subsequent to the famous Battle of Chiari (September 1, 1701) fought between the imperial troops commanded by Eugene of Savoy and the Franco-Piedmontese allies in the context of the War of the Spanish Succession.
