빌라 클레리치 단지와 그 공원은 나빌리오 그란데 강둑을 마주하고 있습니다. 빌라는 크리벨리 가문 소유의 고대 귀족 저택 부지에 세워졌습니다. 오래된 역사 문서를 보면, 나빌리오로 이어지는 계단식 테라스와 선착장 구역으로 이어지는 기념비적인 계단이 있는 18세기 정원을 추적할 수 있습니다. 18세기에 이 단지는 조각상으로 장식된 잘 가꾸어진 정원과 산책로를 갖춘 특별한 건축적 가치를 지녔습니다. 경제적 어려움으로 인해 19세기에 클레리치 가문은 빌라와 정원을 모두 팔아야 했습니다. 소유주들은 내부를 개조하고 정원을 버려둔 채 이 부동산을 실크 공장/직물 공장으로 개조했습니다. 1960년대에 이 정원에는 티치노 공원에서 기증한 수목이 심어졌습니다. 오늘날까지도 식물의 무분별한 성장은 정원의 원래 건축물 일부를 손상시켰지만, 여전히 보존하고 있습니다.

Due to financial difficulties, during the 19th century, the Clerici family was forced to sell both the villa and the garden. The new owners transformed the property into a spinning mill/weaving mill, modifying the interior and abandoning the garden. In the 1960s, the garden was planted with trees donated by the Ticino Park; to this day, the uncontrolled growth of the plants has partially damaged the garden's original architecture, although overall it retains a remarkable example of 17th-century architecture that evokes the splendor and magnificence of those times. The complex is currently privately owned.

The design of the church, dedicated to Saint Martin of Tours and Saint Joachim, was entrusted to the architect Alfonso Parrocchetti, who made it a neo-Renaissance work, based on a wider central nave and two narrower and lower side naves, with a length of 87 meters, a transept length of 30 meters and a height of 57 meters at the lantern, dimensions that make it the largest in the diocese after the Milan Cathedral.
