Rovereto's central Piazza Rosmini is distinguished by two important architectural features: the fountain and the Renaissance palace behind it, Palazzo Ben-Conti d'Arco. The wide portico that characterizes the building was decorated in the early 20th century by Augusto Sezanne, who also embellished Porta San Marco and the Palazzo del Municipio during the same period.
