The bridge of Attone Leuco, count of Alemanno, built in the year 925, also represented a fundamental defense point for the entire surrounding area. On the battlement-shaped pillars you can still see the hinges that once supported the gates, positioned for defensive purposes and to regulate transit through the Customs. The entire structural system is in a good state of conservation, thanks to the repeated recovery interventions carried out over time. Above the Attone Bridge, the new bridge built in 1925 is visible, the first work of its kind in Italy built entirely of reinforced concrete, which directly connects Clanezzo with Almenno.
