커브를 돌면 길이 다시 오르막이 되지만, 아스팔트는 백 미터 정도 후에 끝납니다. 여기서 멈춰 뒤를 돌아보면 인상적인 풍경을 감상할 수 있습니다. 정상으로 가는 길은 도보와 MTB 이용자 모두에게 계속 이어집니다.

스페로넬라 성은 해발 300미터의 몬테 펜디체 정상에 10세기에 세워진 군사 요새였습니다. 이 고지는 고립되고 가파른 지형으로 인해 언덕의 양쪽 경사면, 계곡 및 평원을 통제할 수 있는 전략적 위치를 제공했습니다. 1320년에 스칼리제리 군대의 공격을 받았지만 저항하여 난공불락의 요새라는 명성을 얻었습니다. 이후 감옥으로 사용되었고, 최종적으로 오롤로지오 가문의 휴양지로 사용되었습니다. 전설과 현실이 뒤섞인 스페로넬라 달레스마니니의 이야기는 중세 시대로 거슬러 올라갑니다. 그녀는 15세 소녀였는데, 황제의 대리인이 그녀에게 반하여 이곳에 가두었습니다. 하지만 가족들은 민중을 선동하여 봉기를 일으켰고, 이는 소녀의 석방과 프리드리히 바르바로사 황제의 대표 패배로 이어져 파도바 자유 코뮌의 탄생을 선언하게 되었습니다. 오늘날 요새의 흔적으로는 성벽의 흔적과 에우가네오 언덕의 그림 같은 창문이 남아 있습니다. https://www.visitteolo.it/it/castelli/ruderi-castello-speronella-rocca-pendice-colli-euganei/

Monte Grande, one of the most suggestive destinations of the Hills

Attila's Tooth is a rocky outcrop on the edge of a sheer cliff. It's enclosed by a wooden fence for safety, easily surmountable since there's no protection above the cliff and vegetation obscures the drop. A few steps along the trail is the Croce del Monte Brojon, another very exposed vantage point with a beautiful view of the village of Lumignano below, the Hermitage of San Cassiano, and the plain, with the Euganean Hills on the horizon.

Sanctuary in the north-western area of the Colli Eugenei, that of Monte della Madonna is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and is located between the towns of Rovolon and Teolo, on top of the second highest hill of all the Euganean reliefs. It depends on the abbey of Praglia and is very popular with devout people.

Monte Grande reaches 470 m above sea level and is part of the Colli Euganei Regional Park. On its summit there is a large antenna which acts as a meteorological station.

Rocky outcrop very different from the nearby hills. Frequented by climbers for the numerous ascent routes. Short chain to reach the top where, in addition to the wonderful panorama, there are the remains of the fortress.
