The Müritz is a lake within the Mecklenburg Lake District in the Mecklenburg Lake District, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. It is the largest lake located entirely within Germany. Röbel forms a central hub for its surroundings and is a state-recognized resort. There is a boat connection and bus service through the national park between Waren and Röbel, among other things.
