Pico do Furado is the striking peak at the easternmost tip of Ponta de São Lourenço. From its summit, spectacular views open up across the rugged coastal cliffs, the deep blue sea, and the offshore islands. The Ponte dos Arcos is a 19th-century historic structure in Valongo, Portugal. Built to irrigate the fertile lands of Campo, it also served as a pedestrian crossing. Recently restored, it is now an icon of local heritage.

Two sloping streets wind between houses made of schist darkened by time, all bare of plaster, except for the little white chapel, which shines like a whisper of faith among the stones.

At this point, the landscape reveals two distinct worlds: on one side, the view extends over the Greater Porto and the coastline that stretches out on the horizon; on the other, the peaceful valley of the River Ferreira, where the village of Couce preserves its rural charm.
