A steel cross stands atop Vodno Mountain. Accessible via hiking trails and a cable car (€2). A snack bar is available. On a clear day, there are views of Skopje and the ski resorts of North Macedonia.

This giant statue has stood in the center of the roundabout since 2011. It depicts Gyorche Petrov on horseback. Gyorche Petrov (1865–1921) was a Bulgarian revolutionary and one of the leaders of the Bulgarian-Macedonian-Adrianopic Revolutionary Committee. Despite his self-identification as a Bulgarian, according to Macedonian historiography after World War II, he was ethnically Macedonian.

Still under construction, it was originally scheduled to be completed in 2018. The investor for the futuristic Atenna Tower is the Agency for Electronic Communications. At 155 meters high, the building will be the tallest in the country. The tower will be twice as tall as the Millennium Cross. With its sophisticated equipment, the AEC can monitor the radio frequencies used by public electronic communications services, public broadcasting, private broadcasters, air traffic control, and other systems. The tower will ensure that communications interference is avoided.

Apparently only applies to cars; you can just ride by on a bike. As I passed the barrier, a "gate attendant" was present, but he just greeted me. I thought I was going to have to pay an entrance fee...

From the covered rest area you have a beautiful view of Skopje.

Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Please note: It's closed all day on Mondays. I went up there on my mountain bike on Monday and was surprised because the two restaurants were also closed.
