SFV Itzstedt was founded on June 12, 1980 by members of an interest group of anglers and hunters who had already leased part of Lake Itzstedt. Since its foundation, SFV Itzstedt has had the fishing rights for the entire lake area, with the exception of the protected area. Anglers have access to four club-owned boats, several jetties and a large number of quiet shore fishing spots. The number of members is limited to 50 sports enthusiasts by the lease agreement, which means that applicants may not be accepted immediately. However, interested parties can introduce themselves to club members or the chairman and be put on a waiting list. The prerequisites for admission to the club are the successful completion of the sport fishing test and, of course, a valid annual fishing license. Our club waters: Lake Itzstedt, which is around 15 hectares in size and up to 7.5 meters deep, is a natural feature that was created during the last ice age.

Lake Itzstedt is located in the municipality of Nahe bei Itzstedt in Schleswig-Holstein. It is a natural body of water with a maximum depth of 7.20 m. The average depth is about 4.2 m. The vegetation of Lake Itzstedt consists of widespread species.

The Itzstedter See is a small, beautifully situated lake that has a hiking trail around it. There is an outdoor pool for everyone and a campsite opposite.

Driving along the lake on this side road is a wonderful thing

The lake is beautifully situated, but you can rarely see the path from the path, let alone get to the edge. I assume that the outdoor pool at the lake is the reason.
