I can't recommend the tour around Lake Plön. About 66% of the route is on unpaved, potholed forest paths. It's more of a hiking trail than a bike path. The route is very, very poorly signposted.

A little away from Lake Plön, you just get lost here. A small parking lot, an entrance to the forest, seating by the lake. A very nice, quiet, idyllic and natural place to relax. The pictures don't really show how it really is

The Great Plön Lake, also known as the Plöner See, is the largest lake in Schleswig-Holstein and the tenth largest lake in Germany, covering an area of 28 km². It stretches southwest of the town of Plön, which lies on its shores.

For me this is a great memory of the tours in 2023

The hiking trails are easy to walk, although after a lot of rain there are a few puddles.

Bike route that is easy to ride through beautiful, structured landscape between the large Plöner See and Vierer-See.

Stop and look out as soon as the birds in the area become noisy - often a white-tailed eagle comes flying. To be observed again and again, especially on the Vierer and on the Bischofssee, as well as in the height of Nehmten. But stay on the path!
