Great place for a rest

An ideal place to catch your breath before the climb begins. The bench invites you to take a break – come rain or shine. Thanks to the beautiful roof, you'll stay dry even in inclement weather and can breathe easy. 🌦️🌲 A well-designed spot with a view and functionality. 💡Tip: Perfect for a quick snack before the final climb – also a good spot to take out your rain jacket or hat.

This special rest area is located in the heart of the Frei-Laubersheim vineyards – a table with two chairs, perfect for a short break with a great view. 🍇 Whether you're bringing a bottle of wine or simply enjoying the peace and quiet – Rheinhessen feels very close here. A perfect place for a picnic, a photo, or simply to pause for a moment. 🌤️🍷

In Neu Bamberg, the castle ruins aren't the only thing worth visiting. For dining recommendations: The Junkersmühle and the Alte Ölmühle (the latter is located outside towards Wölstein and is only open on weekends). Those who enjoy a challenging climb on gravel roads can drive to the Winzeralm, not far from Neu Bamberg. The reward is a refreshing glass of wine. (Open whenever the flag is flying on the hilltop.)
