a detour to the bird island is definitely worthwhile. But please not by bike. If you have binoculars with you, you have a clear advantage 😉. On the bird island there is an observation platform from which you can watch the birds very well. If you are lucky, you can also meet a beaver.

Absolutely worth seeing facility with castle and associated landscape park. Admission is currently €15 and contributes to the maintenance of the facility. The castle park was laid out by the "green" Baron Süsskind, who did almost all the planting here himself.
