The Parco delle Cave di Brescia is a local park of supra-municipal interest that covers an area of about 960 hectares. It extends in the south-east area of the city, on the agricultural and natural areas of the districts of Buffalora, Sanpolino, San Polo Case, San Polo Cimabue and San Polo Parco, also including groundwater lakes, of extractive origin, which give name to the whole complex. Since December 2021, only three basins have been open to the public, with cycle-pedestrian paths and ornithological observation points, for a total area of about 125 hectares.

From here you have a beautiful view over Brescia. The cathedral with its dome and the castle can be seen particularly well.
