The Parco delle Cave di Brescia is a local park of supra-municipal interest that covers an area of about 960 hectares. It extends in the south-east area of the city, on the agricultural and natural areas of the districts of Buffalora, Sanpolino, San Polo Case, San Polo Cimabue and San Polo Parco, also including groundwater lakes, of extractive origin, which give name to the whole complex. Since December 2021, only three basins have been open to the public, with cycle-pedestrian paths and ornithological observation points, for a total area of about 125 hectares.

The water park is a science park dedicated to environmental sustainability. 12,000 square meters of greenery in the heart of Brescia, where interactive exhibitions, educational programs and play paths entertain by educating to sustainable lifestyles.
