Here, on the eastern shore of the Krakower Obersee nature reserve, there was a Slavic settlement, presumably including a small fortification or castle. This is where Alt Dobbin, the origin of the present-day village, was located. Here, you're very close to the nature reserve and can, for example, observe greylag geese up close.

The castle's special jewel can be admired in its ballroom. This is where people danced, dined and discussed politics.
