Anyone who travels to Lübeck will (not) pass by the Holsten Gate. This gate in the former city wall is a highlight on every tour to and through Lübeck.
The salt storage facilities are located on the Obertrave right next to the Holsten Gate. They were built between 1579 and 1745. They are a group of brick Renaissance style warehouses.
