Wonderful cycle path, almost drives itself

At the junction with the B75 there is a Danish milestone from 1840. In 1840 the Kingdom of Denmark had the road from Altona (then still an independent town in Holstein) to Lübeck expanded as a military road. Why Denmark? The Danish king was duke of Schleswig and Holstein at this time. The national affiliation was complicated, however, because the duchies were also part of the German Confederation. After the German-Danish War (1864), the duchies of Holstein, Schleswig and Lauenburg were annexed by Prussia (1867) and combined as the province of Schleswig-Holstein.

Why only from Papendorf - small map section irritating? The Bahnradweg C starts in Glinde. The whole route is just great, the cycle path has also been partially redesigned, made wider and so that there are no longer so many tree roots to drive over as a bumpy route. And in Lütjensee we recommend a stop at the Zingelmann bakery.

The Brenner Moor is the largest salt marsh in inland Schleswig-Holstein. The salinity of the salt springs partially reaches that of the North Sea. A jewel of nature but very busy on weekends. Still a real highlight. The crossing is only possible thanks to the laid planks. However, cycling is prohibited

If you drive off all three railway cycle paths. you can get to Henstedt-Ulzburg via Bad Oldesloe.

A beautiful cycle path that connects Glinde and Trittau. There is certainly a shorter route to Trittau, but this is the much nicer one. And you can tell that by how frequented this path is. It must also have been an experience to travel this route by train....

Very nice track bike path, fun to ride

The railway cycle path was very easy to drive
