Indeed a beautiful view of the Schlei, but we had to move on quickly as there were a lot of cars driving along the Gottorfer Damm.

The Königswiesen is an approximately 16 hectare city park in the city of Schleswig. The park extends west of the old town on the north bank of the Kleine Breite der Schlei. Opposite the Königswiesen is the seagull island. In advance of the State Garden Show held on the Königswiesen in 2008, the park's landscape architecture was redesigned. There is an open-air stage (Schlei stage) near the park. The park hosts events several times a year.

I like Schleswig better than Flensburg. Schleswig still has flair and is more exclusive

Anyone who is in Schleswig must of course also take the Viking houses in Haithabe with them. I only looked at the houses and skipped the museum due to time constraints; on the other hand, the 9 euros are not worth it - I stayed there for about 25 minutes and had the feeling that I had seen everything
