A small update on the ferry. The old ferry is currently still running, but this will soon be replaced by a solar ferry. The price of the ferry with a bicycle has increased to 1.50 euros. Still reasonable, in my opinion.

Wonderfully quiet area for cycling. You can really enjoy nature. Although sometimes the tree roots under the asphalt make themselves felt. Of course, only for short sections

For currently 1.5 euros per bike with a person you can get across. Luckily the old ferry is still running

The bridge is currently not passable: Information from the train to the Lindaunisbrücke: The bridge has been closed to passers-by since March 6, 2023. In the period that follows, we dismantle the folding part and set up the temporary bridge for pedestrians and cyclists. It is planned to complete this work in Dec. 2023.
