Here you have to pass the Noor bridge between the Selker and Haddebyer Noor. A great place for a short rest. A very small section of the beach invites you to cool off your feet in the Noor water (depending on the season).

The bridge separates the Haddebyer Noor and the Selker Noor from each other.

The word Noor comes from the Danish (“Nor”) and means “Haff” or “Strandsee” and in the north of Schleswig-Holstein usually describes a lake-like body of water that is almost completely separated from the sea. These areas are of great ecological importance as they represent a unique habitat for many animal species.

Worth seeing: Not far from the bridge is the large Sigtrygg stone, a replica of a Viking Age rune stone.

In autumn or winter the access to the bridge can sometimes be under water, put on waterproof hiking shoes or take a small towel with you then you can walk barefoot to the bridge and get your feet dry again.

At its narrowest point, between Selker and Haddebyer Noor, the gap is only a few meters. This is crossed on a beautiful wooden bridge... From the top, you have a magnificent view of Schleswig Cathedral... albeit from a great distance... There are other beautiful vantage points much closer.
