This is the Little Red Riding Hood Trail.

The Harzbornhaus is no longer a highlight, as it is permanently closed. Looters have already been at work on one building. However, the parking lot by the house is a good starting point for hikes.

The community center today was the old schoolhouse. As long as there was still an elementary school in Kirrberg, three elementary school classes were housed here until the 1980s. Today it is used by clubs and the local council. The historical archive is also located here.

No drinking water and not particularly well maintained, but still a cool resting place with plenty of space to sit.

The whole thing is private and not visible, as there is a privacy screen all around.

The Naturfreundehaus “Harzbornhaus” is a nice starting point for hikes. The lush nature begins right behind the house. A rustic gorge of the desert Aschbach begins here.

This official rescue point is located between Mörsbach and Zweibrücken. At the L465 intersection torechnerbachstrasse. Here is also the turnoff to the garbage dump and the Harzbornhaus.

After a period of rain, a beautiful natural spectacle can be seen here. From the old bridges in the Bundenbach Gorge, it is impassable to this idyllic point. A great photo opportunity!
