Queichtal 입구에 큰 주차장이 있습니다. 여기서 패들 호수까지 도보로 약 5분 거리입니다. 하이킹/자전거 도로는 호숫가를 따라 왼쪽과 오른쪽에 있습니다.

The Stations of the Cross from the Erfweiler "Kapellche" (at the edge of Erfweiler) initially run flat through the Glastal valley and then climb steeply uphill to the Winterkirchel chapel. It consists of 12 stations, i.e., 12 large, hewn sandstone blocks, which unfortunately now look quite weathered. (A Catholic Stations of the Cross usually has 14 stations, but there are regional variations, as here in Erfweiler.)

There begins a very narrow but great zigzag path down

The view into the vastness of the Palatinate Forest toward the Großer Eyberg. Millions of trees, thousands of rocks.

The castle complex, first mentioned in documents in 1127, impresses with its size and exposed location on a mountain ridge near Dahn.

Gigantic rock formation

A quiet little lake in the middle of the forest – especially atmospheric in the fog, almost meditative. Barely any wind, hardly any noise – simply pure nature. 💡 Tip: Ideal for a short break or a quiet photo – don't walk past!
