Unfortunately, the bench is located at the entrance to the parking lot and is in direct sunlight. There are more secluded spots at the maar.

Beautiful valley along the stream. The Alfbach is integrated into the hiking trail "Strohner Schweiz"

Very idyllically situated maar. Despite the advanced time of year (beginning of November) we were lucky with the weather ☀️, the trees still had their beautiful autumn colours 🍁🍂 and we were able to observe many great egrets and grey herons.
