Today the castle and the park is a popular place for conferences, wedding celebrations and you can also book beautiful rooms for a short break here. The restaurant is only open to house guests, but you can strengthen yourself and take a short break in the charming courtyard café. Former estate with manor house, the origins of which date back to the 16th century. The noble family von Bredow expanded Liebenberg into a manor. The former baroque garden was redesigned in the 19th century based on designs by Peter Joseph Lenné as a landscape park with baroque elements. The most famous lord of the Liebenberg castle was Philipp, Prince of Eulenburg and Hertefeld, the diplomat was a close confidante of Emperor Wilhelm II. Both of them went hunting in the forests around Liebenberg.
