From the small bank on the bank you have a picturesque view of the mill pond and the spooky tower Dammsmühle. Especially in winter, the bare trees create a unique atmosphere.

We walk to the mill pond, surrounded by the remains of buildings in the middle of the forest.

A large oak tree and a copper beech tree shine beautifully in the sunlight.

We reach the water.

We hear a rustling sound and shortly afterwards, to our complete surprise, see a grass snake swimming through the water.

On the path around the lake, we repeatedly catch glimpses of Dammsmühle Castle.

We find an old pagoda, apparently left to decay.

The scent of lilies of the valley is intense along the path.

Anglers have set up camp everywhere here.

The path along the water is beautiful, and we continue around the lake until we reach the mouth of the Tegeler Fließ river into the mill pond.

We sit down next to a bench and rest for a snack.
We almost don't want to leave this place.
