헤닉스도르프‬에서 가장 멋진 ‪8‬개의 동굴

I'm not that keen on visiting castles and gardens, but even I enjoyed it here. The grounds and buildings are simply worth seeing—it was really fun.

Part of the palace gardens. Little shade, plenty of flowers, and a view of the carp pond to the north, the palace to the south, and the large fountain in the middle ⛲️. The paths here are straight and ideal for sprints. However, this area is often very crowded during the day.

The castle itself isn't suitable for walking, but it looks great. The adjacent castle park is interesting, offering numerous paths, bridges, and small sights.

Charlottenburg Palace impresses with its baroque splendor and the extensive gardens that border directly on the Spree. The idyllic cycle path along the bank offers you a relaxing ride with beautiful views of the water and the historic architecture.

Another Prussian queen is leaving her mark in Charlottenburg: Luise, the queen revered by the people. She is buried in the mausoleum with her husband and son. Then it becomes quiet in the castle. As early as 1888 it no longer serves as a royal residence and visitors can visit the complex. After the Second World War, the badly damaged castle was rebuilt.

The carp pond was created in the park of Charlottenburg Palace. The palace was accessible by boat via a ramp leading to the Spree River. On the steps leading down to the carp pond are eight putti and four decorative vases. They are made of white-painted aluminum, date from 1984, and stand on stone pedestals approximately 1 meter high. It's now reasonably well maintained. At least you can relax here and a little further in the park you can always find a quiet spot.

From here you have a great view over the entire castle park.
