The bridge pictured is not the bridge between Wehrden and Meinbrexen, but the Weser bridge between Wehrden and Boffzen, which crosses the Weser near Godelheim below Fürstenberg. The railway line runs from Holzminden to Scherfede and has been closed for many years.

Beautiful little ferry that we always enjoyed using to cross the Weser on our bike tour. You can also have a lovely rest on the ferry.
