The pictures are from 2019 or older. Now in 2022, the valley resembles a disaster landscape. Storms and bark beetles have done a great job. The destruction is speechless. The paths are walkable and it still has its charm, but the markings are missing in some places. Good shoes and a hat in strong sun are recommended, as the sun beats down mercilessly without the canopy of the trees.

A great place. For a small fee, you can climb the rocks if you're not afraid of heights. You can also celebrate Walpurgis Night here. There's also a beautiful small lake next to it.

The Falkenburg ruins in Teuto are a ruined castle in the Detmold district. The former hilltop castle was built from around 1190 and was abandoned in the first half of the 16th century. The Falkenburg, which is a protected archaeological monument, has been examined by an archaeological excavation team since April 2005.

The Preußischer Velmerstot is the highest elevation in the Eggegebirge at 468 m above sea level; the neighboring Lippischer Velmerstot is its smaller brother at 441 m. The Velmerstot therefore has two peaks. Both peaks were border areas in the past; this explains the names Preußischer Velmerstot and Lippischer Velmerstot.  (cf. teutoburgerwald.de)

With good visibility you can look from up to the Hermannsdenkmal and you generally have a beautiful panoramic view all around. Invites you to linger.

A really nice place. Shortly before the bridge, Bachmint grows directly in the Silberbach.

Very quiet, nice valley, in which apart from his breathing and his own footsteps, one usually only hears the rustling of the Silberbach. The route is definitely worth it!
