Bursfelde Monastery had a major impact on European monastic life with its reforms in the 15th century and therefore has a great history! The complex, parts of which have been preserved today, is particularly impressive with the Romanesque basilica of St. Thomas and St. Nicholas. Definitely worth seeing!

The "city of three rivers": Fulda-Werra-confluence-Weser. Dr. Eisenbarth is often encountered in this city, as he died in Münden on one of his trips, and his grave is there. Alexander von Humboldt was also enthusiastic about this city: "one of the seven most beautifully situated cities in the world"! WE are also enthusiastic 👍👍
