The cycle path runs partly along the road, but is easy to ride and passes through small villages

Another bridge has now been built directly next to the Mühlentor Bridge, which can only be used on foot and by bicycle.

The existence of cycle paths is of course always to be welcomed, especially when they are in such a pristine condition (as far as I can tell from the short sections that are necessary to cross the road) 👍 When things have to go quickly, mountain bikers are also happy. But a finely asphalted cycle path is definitely not a MTB-specific highlight! There are so many more species-appropriate alternatives! In the south along the Trave, in the north through the forests (which is also shown in the numerous photos that have been added here incorrectly).

The interesting part is now overgrown with branches from numerous small beech trees on both sides. From above, the path is no longer visible under the leaves and snow, but from below it is still visible. However, the ascent is not particularly attractive and the beech trees punish you with whiplashes - and that even in winter...
