The Bad Freienwalde Cemetery is a morbid area on a hillside. It features old, overgrown graves, urn corners, World War I and II war graves, and a small chapel in the center, along with an external bell tower. A beautiful old cemetery with a roughly paved main path. Unfortunately, it's quite neglected. From the main entrance, the path leads southwest directly to the chapel and then across the entire cemetery.

The oldest and most famous geological nature trail in the state of Brandenburg was created in 1964 under the direction of Hans Ohnesorg (1914-1986). In the middle of the 20th century, the rocks exhibited on the nature trail were uncovered in the local gravel pit. The natural monument “Altranft Geological Nature Trail” is now recognized as a protected part of the landscape. It is not only interesting from a geological and geomorphological point of view, but also has a diverse range of flora and fauna. You can study these animals and plants here in peace. Unless there is a guided tour going on, it is very lonely here. For runners, beautiful bumpy trails lead through and past here.

Concrete memorial for those persecuted by the Nazi regime (VdN) in Bad Freienwalde. The typical red triangle is recognizable. "The dead warn us." is the inscription. Protected from accidental glances by tall trees and bushes all around. Anyone who doesn't know it's there won't see it. It is therefore a "hidden" memorial.
