Along the shore, you'll find quiet swimming spots, picnic areas, and viewpoints such as the Schwarzer Stubben and Springeberg, which divide the lake into a northern ("Enger Flaken") and a southern ("Weiter Flaken") half.

A nice place to take a break with a bench in the sun and one in the shade. People fish here, and you can also swim, although the bottom is a bit muddy, and things can hide in the mud. I ended up with a cut on my foot after swimming here.
