バート・フライエンヴァルデ（オーダー）のおすすめランニングルート

From 1973 to 1990, there was a charcoal kiln here. It was opened at that time because every business in the GDR was supposed to produce consumer goods. The forestry department was no exception. However, not in typical charcoal kilns, as one might expect, but in old locomotive boilers. Well, that's how the charcoal kiln was born. Today, there are delicious cakes and other "consumables" here. The children also have a great playground.

The Leaning Tower of Bad Freienwalde. Due to mining, it leans slightly. However, it was painstakingly stabilized and the foundation reinforced. To reach the tower, you have to run steeply up the Galgenberg. Either via a forest path or a staircase. The latter entices with steps of varying heights and widths, treads with roots, and burning thighs.

A lovely snack bar in the forest with small, warm meals, coffee, and cake. Reasonable prices.

From here, you have a beautiful view of Lake Baasee. Head south to the parking lot of the Baasee Inn, and then head north up the first hill.

A huge highlight for hikers. A good landmark for runners. Numerous paths and trails branch off from here. If open, you can also refill your hydration here.

Here, you can start hikes in many directions. For example, the Siebenhügelweg trail to Bad Freienwalde begins here. It's very busy on weekends, though. The Baaseeschenke is right next door.
