The Devil's Chimney in Saarhölzbach is a striking rock formation that rises out of the ground like a large chimney or tower. Legend has it that the devil himself built this chimney to hide his cave inside. Once a year, the devil is said to come out of his cave and cause unrest in the area. Locals also tell stories of spooky figures that haunt the Devil's Chimney and scare hikers. Many people therefore avoid the place, especially at night. Despite its dark legends, the Devil's Chimney is also a popular destination for hikers and climbers who want to explore the impressive rock formation.
