For me, "Frau Holle" was always the kind old lady shaking out down comforters. This "Frau Holle" with her hollow eyes gazing out of the rock, however, goes back to the Celtic/Germanic legendary figure who was declared a demon during the Christianization process.

Field paths lead to the Gusenburg recreational area, which has a parking lot and a fishing hut. Several benches provide a place to rest by the large body of water.

On April 30, 2009, the Nailsmith Monument was unveiled on the newly designed village square on the main street. It commemorates the nailsmith trade that was widespread in Gusenburg until 1950. The monument was created by the artist Werner Bitzigeio from Winterspelt. Among other things, one can recognize a wheel with a dog driving a bellows, the various types of nails, and the typical nail anvil.

The Mill Chapel in the Lösterbach Valley near Hermeskeil is a small plaster building dating from 1912 that houses a Madonna of the Lourdes. It is located near the Blasius Mill, a former flour mill. The chapel is a testament to the Christian spirit of the ancestors and is considered one of the region's cultural landmarks.
