The historic wooden bascule bridge, which connects the two districts of Wieck and Eldena, which are separated by the Ryck, and regulates the passage into the museum harbor, is still operated by hand today with its more than 13-meter-long flaps.

The ferryman is a seated sculpture and part of the sculpture trail in Wieck. The sculpture is both a great photo opportunity with the historic bascule bridge in the background and a nice bench from which you can easily observe the hustle and bustle.

The wooden plank path connects the marina with the pier in Lubmin. It runs directly behind the dike along the water. Very nice path.
