10月 31, 2025, Cantina Calzolai
It's not a real restaurant or bar, but a dilapidated house that used to be a wine cellar, but hasn't been for some time. Aesthetically appealing, but calling it a place for refreshments is misleading.

5月 30, 2025, Alpe Formica
Alpe Formica, in the Condove area in the province of Turin. Originally a place of sheep farming and subsistence agriculture, the alp was the scene of emigration to the valley floor and France, in search of work in the factories. Subsequently, industrial development in the valley floor, such as in Condove with the Officine Moncenisio, led to a real exodus from the mountain villages to the valley floor, a process that ended in the mid-1970s.

Just go down 100 meters into the Colombatti hamlet and you will find a fountain with very fresh water.

12月 4, 2024, Pilone Votivo di Colombatti
It is a very suggestive corner that you come across both going up from the locality "quattro strade" (coming from S. valeriano or Borgone) and going up from Mocchie. Near the pylon the wood is rather sparse and the ground almost flat, this and the shaded position make it ideal for a stop. The only flaw: there is no water.

2月 26, 2024, Chapel of Prarotto
Starting point of some descents that lead to Borgone, S.Didero and Bruzolo. Starting point also for a walking tour of Rocca Patanua, and also of some areas rich in mushrooms so in the periods following the rains you can find many "bulaiè"

2月 26, 2024, Chapel of Prarotto
Very satisfying ride, not difficult, mostly S1 and some downhill S2 passages, therefore suitable for almost everyone who frequents single tracks. You pass through some villages, one of which is larger, Maffiotto, inhabited and with some renovated houses while others are crumbling. Then the Prarotto Chapel at mt. 1450 highest point of the tour from where this descent starts. Other small villages can be found along the descent, but they have been abandoned for years and are half in ruins. The arrival at the Achit village is very beautiful where the vegetation opens up and there are some panoramic points. Clean path, absolutely recommended. Some variations are possible for the descent to Borgone and S. Didero

3月 18, 2023, Antica Cava di Rocaforte
A few minutes' detour from the main path leads to an ancient millstone quarry. There are some iron steps planted in the rock to overcome and after a short climb over rubble you enter the quarry where you can see some millstones carved into the rock, but no longer finished.

9月 21, 2022, Chapel of Prarotto
Classic destination of the lower Val Susa in a panoramic position and reachable from many parts, the asphalted road that climbs directly from Condove is quite busy, it is highly recommended to make the ring passing from Bruzolo and Maffiotto along the path of the Resistance

3月 28, 2022, Pera Furà Millstone Cave
The "pera furà" is an ancient quarry of millstones, obtained in a rocky wall clearly visible from the locality Chiampano, which in turn rises just above another even more evident granite formation overlooking Borgone, where for years there has been a cliff of climbing. To reach the quarry, starting from the car park of the climbing wall, one follows the two existing paths on either side of the cliff, with both of them reaching Chiampano, while with the path on the right access is direct, with the one on the left it is necessary, once in the hamlet, turn right onto the main street thus reaching the signs for pera furà. Access to the quarry is carried out with a short stretch of aided path (metal pegs driven into the rock) and a stretch of path where you need to be careful not to slip. In five minutes you arrive at the cave, on the walls of which the marks left by the quarrymen and some millstones, well hewn, still set in the rock and never completed again, are clearly visible. continuing the climb towards Roccabruna (or Pietrabruna) you arrive, after a steep stretch of path, on the top of the "pear", with an exceptional view over the Susa valley. The hamlet, not far away, is abandoned. In the basements are found old vats, remains of barrels and some presses, witnesses of an ancient exploitation of the surrounding land as vineyards, where the remains of dry stone wall terraces are found (the toponym "vigne del rocco" is not chosen at random .. ..)

3月 28, 2022, View of Valle di Susa from Airassa
Despite the rather low altitude, the Airassa locality is very panoramic, both towards the Susa Valley, where the view ranges from the Orsiera - Rocciavrè group seen almost from the front, up to the Ambin massif and the Rocciamelone. On the opposite side you can see Punta Grifone, the Sbaron and the Colombardo hill. The climb up to here requires normal mid-mountain equipment and requires a couple of hours (stops excluded), not recommended in the hottest months, bring a good supply of water because there are no refueling points.

5月 20, 2021, Chapel of Prarotto
This suggestive chapel represents the arrival point of a long climb (about 18 km) that from Condove, passing through the villages of Mocchie, Frassiniere and Mollette, leads up to the 1430 meters among all, the Punta Lunella). The climb, of about 1050 m. in altitude, all on asphalt, it is quite gradual up to Mocchie, the most populous hamlet of the many that Condove boasts; after Mocchie, a couple of flat kilometers allow you to catch your breath before the new ramp leading to Frassiniere. From here the climb continues without further discounts to the chapel's parking lot.
