トリノにあるイル・ポンテ（またはパッセレッラ）プリンチペッサ・イザベラは、1876年から1880年の間にエルネスト・ギオッティの設計に基づいて建設された、5つのアーチを持つエレガントな石造りの構造物で、南はパルコ・デル・ヴァレンティーノに接しています。

公園エリアは歴史的に第一次世界大戦の記憶と結びついており、戦没者の記念碑が置かれています。特に、この記念碑は、タウリネンセ師団とアルピーニ旅団の戦没者を追悼するものです。

The summit of Turin's hill, surrounding the Victory Lighthouse, is designated as a Park of Remembrance. Thousands of posts bear metal plaques, each bearing the names of Turin's soldiers who fell on the various fronts of the First World War. Walking among these memorials is a constant reminder of the painful and futile nature of the wars of the powerful, in which the poor have suffered the most. Young people, forced into, or convinced by propaganda that there was a terrible enemy to be defeated, found themselves in the trenches killing, or being killed by others like them, who had fallen into the same terrible trap.

A great spot to see Turin from above, nestled in the shade of the trees for refreshment and silence.

The Victory Lighthouse, also known as the Maddalena Lighthouse, is a colossal monument dedicated to the Winged Victory, located at the top of the Memorial Park near the Maddalena Hill. The optics of the lighthouse are located in the torch held in the hands of the imposing bronze statue, a work by the Turinese sculptor Edoardo Rubino.
