The current parish church was completed in 1912. It was a beautiful and attractive church for its time, as the picture impressively shows. The nave was almost completely destroyed in World War II. Source: Display board

Hey guys 👋 To the left and right of the Creation Trail, as can be seen in many photos, there are exciting rock formations and former tunnels. Sensitive species make their home in these rocky nooks and crannies. Bats, for example, feel very comfortable in the tunnels – but only as long as they are not disturbed. Therefore, the tunnels are closed off with coarse metal grilles, and the paths are not to be left. Please respect the little creatures' "privacy" 🦇. After all, we all don't want someone pressing their nose against our bedroom window and waking us up. 😉🛌🪟 The most important "rules" for protecting nature throughout the Eifel National Park: Stay on official trails, don't light fires or make noise, keep dogs on leashes, and take your trash with you. Thank you for your understanding! 💚
