Hey guys 👋 To the left and right of the Creation Trail, as can be seen in many photos, there are exciting rock formations and former tunnels. Sensitive species make their home in these rocky nooks and crannies. Bats, for example, feel very comfortable in the tunnels – but only as long as they are not disturbed. Therefore, the tunnels are closed off with coarse metal grilles, and the paths are not to be left. Please respect the little creatures' "privacy" 🦇. After all, we all don't want someone pressing their nose against our bedroom window and waking us up. 😉🛌🪟 The most important "rules" for protecting nature throughout the Eifel National Park: Stay on official trails, don't light fires or make noise, keep dogs on leashes, and take your trash with you. Very nice view of Einruhr and the Ruhrsee

Very nice view over Einruhr and of course the Rursee.

The town of RURBERG is located at the intersection of Rursee and Obersee. Just outside the village, which is heavily influenced by water, on the edge of the Eifel National Park - you have to cross the "Eiserbachdamm" and the "Paulushofdamm" - hikers can take a boat tour on the Obersee. Either as a complete tour, or to the Einruhr boat docks and Urft dam.
